Default alternator mounting options?

i am dropping my LT1 into my 76 and the only accessory it will have is the alternator as i have a manual box so i need som belt/mounting options for the alternator, i would like to go with around a 100 amp unit, let me know what you guys are using, thanx

If it does I will recommend using the Speed inc bracket...I have an SJM bracket and I have not had good luck with it. I will be switching over soon.

so speed inc and madman, sounds good now do these kits come with a new belt or do you need to supply that yourself? also what is the amperage on the stock 94-up alternators?

the Madman kit comes with a new belt....not sure on the stock alt. amp rating...I think it is 140amp tho'

i would look into March Performance. i have their pullies on the IROC (crank, water pump, and alt only) and i have no complaints. they make a lot of brackets for different applications and i was very impressed with their fit and finish.
