Do I need a twin disc clutch? My Spec stg 3 finally bit the dust on Friday after a 6800 rpm launch. Car is just cam only, and will stay that way. I need a clutch that drives fairly reasonable on the street and can last through a number of hard launches. Anybody have any opinions? I'm thinking the possibilities are the Spec stg 4 or move up to a twin disc, but I dont want to shell out the money for a twin disc unless it will last considerably longer and handle the hard launches.

I would say yes spend the $$$. Lauching like that on slicks you need a good clutch. I know I do the same thing lol.
I got tired of it spent the money now I dont have to worry about issue form it anymore......
