Default Replacing Clutch

Looking at a new clutch for my car. Looking for something that will hold up to around 400 N/A rwhp and some spray down the road. Would like to retain stock peddle feel if possible.

You can keep stock pedal feel and handle the power with alot of clutches, the issue will be how long they last. How hard are you planning to launch the car at the track? Launching on the spray? If so you can probably forget stock pedal feel if you want it to last more than a few months.

With the poll option, which one last longer, assuming the same way of usage?

So far I'm really enjoying my spec 3+. It does have some pretty bad chatter to begin with but it goes away in a couple hundred miles. It's very grippy and it takes some used to getting to know how to drive a REAL clutch. There isn't a whole lot of feathering going on anymore. But it does have the same clutch pressure feel but just engages much harder and you need to throttle the bitch to keep the car from stalling because it just really wants to take off.

I can't comment on some of those clutches because I've never used them. My point was that in general I think you should be looking at some stouter clutches if you plan to spray the car. For what it's worth my Spec stage 3 lasted 30k miles with hundreds of track passes.

I have the LS7 Z06 clutch and it's hating life. It won't last much longer, it doesn't perform well when warm, it slips and smells. I know my next choice is Spec 3+, Tex or something better then a cheap stock based platform. I definitely got what I paid for!

How much HP are you putting out? Are you mostly at the track with it?

I haven't been to the track yet with it, just the occasional dig race and downshifting. Every now and then I'll go out to a stretch of road and practice launching, but limit it to two at a time to avoid getting the clutch to hot. As for power less then 400, but more then 300.
