Default Very odd breakage

Bad noise bangin around under the car and and then clutch wont disengage the next day. I tore out the trans, bell housing, clutch, and pressure plate. Check out the bell housing, missing a eraser size chuck and all beat to hell. The problem was those two little medal dowel thingies. I guess they hold the inner springs in place on those double springs around the clutch. So i gotta order a new clutch and PP. Hopefully I can have the bell housing repaired with an aluminum weld job to fill the hole and ground down. If not, then I need a new one too.

I wonder if my bell housing can be repaired by filling in with weld.

Not hard to get, but expensive. I said screw it and ordered a quicktime bell housing for 440.
