I had a 5.0 shifter a Lou's short stick and my MBA shift ball **** would actually hit the sente console in 2nd gear. With the stock Hurst **** it wouldn't hit though. I'm not sure how it would be with a C6 **** but if you're looking for low then go with the LSS.

Ive driven a car with a LSS and it was too short IMO, most ive seen are either too long or too short. I resorted to cutting the handle of my hurst billet plus and welding it back after taking some length out of it, if you have a welder or know someone who can do it I for sure recommend this, gets you the height you want and its cheap.

I got mine from afterthoughtsauto.com. I've always had good experiences with them.

I know shortening the stick is popular around here - but why? A longer stick gives you more leverage to pull the transmission into gear, especially when shifting quickly. The shorter the stick, the more resistant the transmission will feel going into gear.
