yea your right...quicktime doesnt offer a LT1 bell.....McLeod is the only company that does and they just came out with it.....$440 for it though...gotta start saving up to get that next.....at what point do you guys feel that it becomes necessary to have one??

Its only 440 now??? Wow i bought mine about a month and a half ago and paid way more then that. My serial number is 5. Mcleod told me there was 25 available and that was it. Unless they started selling them like crazy??

Sticky tires on the track. If you never have seen a clutch explode, consider yourself lucky. A clutch coming apart will rip right through your stock bell and through your floor like nothing. Most of the time, it will do physical harm to you as well, even if the clutch misses your foot/leg, more than likely some type of debris will hit you somewhere. I have been at the track when it happened to a guy I was pitted with, and he lost his little toe. After looking at his car, he was LUCKY that he only lost his toe. Just picture a chainsaw and running a stick of butter over it to get an idea of what it will do, not pretty. So, again, if you don't want to take chances, anytime at the track with sticky tires is a good idea, regardless of HP.
