....ah LT 1 PP bolts are 22 ft lbs......not like LS motors.
With the car on jack stands put tranny in 2nd gear with clutch in and car running....if your rear wheels turn with clutch in....that means it is not disengageing all the way and you WILL wear syncro's, etc. Typically it is hard to get in reverse as well.
The TQ spec is 22 ft lbs for a reason...not 23, 224, 25, etc.
you now have PP bolts TQ 20% more than spec.
Use red lock tite on PP bolts
Don't feel bad...many have made this mistake...I did.
Since the tranny is back in may as well try the test...you may luck out
