Unhappy Clutch pedal stuck to the floor

Read the stickies, this isn't the same problem covered in the sticky about pedals stuck to the floor during aggressive driving.

So today after a short drive and parking it to get gas(normal the whole time before) I come out to find my clutch pedal is stuck to the floor. I popped the cap on the clutch master cylinder and pumped the pedal by hand and was able to get it off the floor and was able to get it home but by the time I got there it was on the floor again.

So either my slave or the clutch master cylinder died...opinions?

Is it sticking all the time or just that once?

Start with the simple things first.

-Try bleeding it, you may have gotten some air in there.

-Change the fluid, re-bleed again

-Would most likely be the master cylinder before your slave.

It's sticking all the time now.

Thanks for the advice, I hope to hell it's not the slave.

I just picked up a new '01-'02 master cylinder and my fluid needs to be flushed anyway so hopefully that will take care of the problem.

Yes there is, but it's not the same type of "pedal sticking to the floor problem"

"When driven aggressively, GM cars with manual transmissions have the problem of the clutch pedal sticking to the floor or other symptoms as a hard or soft pedal., slow to return or lazy pedal, stuck mid way pedal, or the classic its just stuck on the floor board. For anyone that has experienced any of these they know how annoying they can be. Its even more annoying trying to find the right fix for the problem. Unfortunately there is no definite answer to this problem every car is different. For some they just need to flush the fluid some the drill mod solves the problem. Others have to start replacing parts such as the clutch master or the slave cylinder."
