I sometimes wished I had a A4 or maybe just wished I could afford both. Theres nothing like banging gears tho. Cause my M6 shifts great and have not had any trouble since I had it rebuilt with the new clutch. I dont do much drag racing with it any more since I keep breaking ring gears. I got a buddy that has an 02 A4 with the same mods as me and he is cutting 1.56 60 foots on the stock 10 bolt. I guess I like the A4's if I was going to do alot of drag racing.

no way. just something to me driving my car not my car driving me. anyone can drive an auto to a win, not many can do it rowing gears. not that i am the best out there but it is way more satisfying.

unless its a toy or something special (fbody, other muscle cars), for a daily driver i go auto every time. i did drive my TA daily for 10 months when she was new, and after that ill never daily drive a stick again. the constant rush hour traffic is insane here. its different if you live out in the woods or something where you can drive for an hour and never touch the brakes.

It is more of a whole driving experience with a manual IMO. Shifting up and down doesn't appeal to some, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have an auto DD and it is just not the same.
