dumb question...autozone only has automatic trans oil?

dumb question...autozone only has automatic trans oil? Every Dexron III trans oil said it was specifically for an automatic. Is this what I use in my T-56?
Also, the trans grinds and rejects the shift into 3rd gear about once per month or so. Otherwise it shifts fine. It's annoying because you never know when it's going to happen and you're constantly bracing for it every shift into 3rd. What could cause this and how much would it cost to fix?

I think the third issue is a misaligned/bent shift fork. There was a TSB out a long while ago. Mine will sometimes pop out of third if I don't gas it after shifting to third. I was going to get a rebuild at 6-speed inc, but they went under. I'm shopping around but am in no big hurry.
