2000 c5 vette wont shift at high rpms

Default 2000 c5 vette wont shift at high rpms

ok just did a clutch swap stock one was slipping to a spec 3 with fidenza flywheel did the drill mod with new slave and car will not shift at high rpms anyone else have this problem

Yup, You need to change your master cylinder. I should ask what is it doing though? Pedal stick to floor or just hard to put in?

again its a new one i heard something that flywheel thickness could have something to due with it ever heard of that problem on the vettes

its just hard to put in gear

A few questions if I may. Did you install the shim? Where is the engagement point, relative to pedal travel? If you put it in 1st and rev the motor does the car creep forward? If you can provide some answers to this I will be better able to assess your situation and provide a resolution. Thanks!

DTRtransam02 is a buddy of mine who posted this for me, but yes the shim was installed, the engagement point pedal is about 1/4 of the way out, and yes the car rolls foward when i rev the motor. Any ideas would help, thanks!
