Monster stg 3 vs Spec stg 3?
Ok I think I am going to forget the LS7 and just get it done right. I plan on spraying next summer but need a clutch now so i figure I might as well do it. After gettting quotes for both the Spec and Monster, I was wanting to know real world experiences. Preferable from anyone who has ran both and can give a review of bolth. So if anyone has any opions let me know thanks!!

You may want to look into Textralia before you make your mind up. I did alot of research and after all I read, I went with the Textralia OZ700 Z-grip. I had a spec-3, didn't have any issues with it, I liked it but I know a lot of people have had issues with them. Just do your research before you make a decision. Hope you make the right one. By the way, I'm not a sponsor and I don't make anything if you go with Tex, i'm just giving my opinion to a fellow f-body owner.

Though I am biased, if I have said it once I have said it a thousand times...break-in, flywheel flatness and installation play a major role in the life expectency of your clutch kit. If you will provide a bit more info about your planned useage and torque output I would be happy to assist you in determing which of our products would suit you best. I like the heck out of our stage 3, but it can be a bit aggressive for some peoples taste and as such you may be happier with a stage 2, 2+ or even 3+. Just let me know more about your plans and we can proceed with more info! Thanks,

Not sure on Spec pricing (ask Spec-01 here on LS1, GREAT guy by the way), but ALL Monster Clutches are priced teh same, from dealer to dealer (set by Monster). So, whoever has one price, it will be the same at another dealer.
You can check out pricing on Monster Clutches on my site below in my sig.
Thanks

I bought and am installing a Stage 3 Monster. After doing some extensive reading I decided to go with the Monster due to amazing customer service and nothing but stellar reviews from people here on tech. It's true all companies have the monster clutches at the same price, however I went with Tickperformance since they offer free shipping on orders over $400 and monster clutch packages are over the $400 minimum order requirement for free shipping. I would definitely get it from them. So go ahead and order that Monster already, you won't be disappointed! Oh and Tick is a sponsor here ->

Well, I can say that the Monster Level 3, while is stiffer than "stock", is still a clutch that you can drive daily, without fear of blowing out your left leg! On "paper" (as Steve likes to say) the Level 3 is 8% stiffer than stock, so you can see, it's not much stiffer, and nothing to worry about. The most popular Levels are 2 and 3, and I would say 95% of those are DD (or every other day) cars.
Any other questions, feel free to call or PM/email
Side note..if you are 410 or so, and you spray it with a 125, you are @ 535, give or take, which is gonna be right on the "border" of the Level 2 (rated 525 HP/TQ @ tires). So, I would say go with the Level 3, because we ALL end up making or wanting more power than we have.

Monster level 3 here... still breaking it in. as stated before it is stiffer but really after driving it you get used to it... The great thing about it is that it drives really close to my old ls6 clutch on the street. So far i love it!!!
