For those of you that have the WS6 short stick with the stock hurst shifter, how do you like it? Does engaging gears feel any different? Is it too short or just right? Did you go with the regular 6" or 6.5" inch?

I'm asking because sometime soon I will be upgrading to the LS7 clutch and this stock shifter simply isn't cutting it for me, I feel like I'm driving a tractor. I would love to get the MGW shifter but I don't have an extra $250. The short stick they sell seems like a fun addition for $25.

I drove like that for awhile. Removing the stock stick with the isolator is about the best thing you can do on the cheap. It will really change the feel of the shifter.

We had the 6" on our stock hurst, and LOVED it!! It definitly improved the feel of the shifter..

I had the 6.5" on the stock Hurst Shifter, sold it the next day. The throw was very short, but I hated leaning forward all the time.

Thanks for the input. Does anyone have issues hitting the console? I'm thinking about getting the 6.5" if that helps any.
