Default new monster and tick master.

I had the the 3.5 monster, Tick adj. salve, and the speed bleeder installed today and so far it's great. This thing is a whole new animal it shifts nice and smooth and I can tell its going to grab great after the break in. I just wish I could have it broken in by the weekend for test and tune at the track

I didn't get the speed bleeder as my slave was already installed when I bought my master, but if I have to replace it I'll definitely be picking one up

Steve insists on 500 miles and heat cycles...don't count highway as break in. Read the directions??

I read the directions I was just kidding around. I'm just ready to see how well it does at WOT shifts. I'm doing the break in just like it said.

Just don't sleep at all and drive the car around all night.

So, do you have any chatter with the 3.5?

:thread hijacked: Sorry to jack thread for a moment but I got a quick Q about break-in. I have the Stage 3 and I am doing a motor build along with the clutch. Can I dyno it first without breaking it in since it is a puck style?

I'd call the company and ask, but I bet they say not to. They'll probably want you to get it tuned well enough to drive it and break it in.

It does make me wonder what guys with racecars do...

That would be a question for us and the answer is no, get the tuner to do a base tune, break in the clutch, then go back for the full tune.
