Default Looking for some help...

Hello all...

I am new to the T56 world and I am swapping one into my car right now. I dropped my engine in today and I am now working on getting my tranny in. I have the belhousing and clutch/pressure plate/flywheel setup on the engine. What is the best way to get the clutch fork onto the throw-out bearing? How is the the clutch fork supposed to be when it's attached to the tranny? Mine seems pretty loose and floppy in most directions... Whats the easiest/safest way to get the engine and tranny to meet up?

Thanks for all the help!

Guessing you have an LT1 T56. The clutch fork slides on a pivot mount on the mid-plate of the trans. You leave the fork pulled out during the install, and pushed in afterwards and it will engage the TOB.. It's a loose fit and the slave will keep just enough tension on the fork to make it all work.. Really simple..
