Default Advice on new clutch...

i'm looking to see what a good clutch to put in my car would be, i have a 1998 trans am ws-6....

if you have less than 425rwhp, are naturally aspirated, and dont plan on ever going to the track, i would pick up an ls7 clutch. otherwise, i would look at getting a monster clutch

Yea, the LS7 clutch does get hot pretty easily. It's a great clutch for the street, but it's a little weak for the track. SPEC has really stepped up their game lately, so that's another option.

If you're not tight on money, there's always the Textralia option

have had a textrallia six puck in my car for about 5,000 miles and no complaints what so ever, except that its a pain in traffic.

Well, need more info, but let's assume you are stock (since no mention of mods). Take a look at our Level 1 and 2 (see link in my signature, I am a dealer for Monster Clutches)

When looking at other clutches, even though Monster may SEEM like more money, if you start adding things up that do not come with other clutch kits, that ours include (like a flywheel and 1 year warranty for starters), you will find they are pretty similar in price.
