Default How much does a lt1 t56 weigh ?

Just as the question states, Ive looked every where and cant find anything that gives me a direct answer. Thanks to anyone with info

Exactly or Estimated? They usually ship out around 135lbs, not including Clutch/Hyd/Flywheel/shifter/bellhousing/etc.

thanks man i have one im trying to get a shipping quote on, I have a shifter, Hyd,pedals,bellhousing,wiring harness, upper console insert, i was going to find a crate to ship it in.

what would be the best way to ship all that ?

Tranny (like 85mike said) ships @ 125-135 LBs. Whatever you do, KEEP IT UNDER 150, or else you get into a WHOLE new ballgame with shipping charges. if that means you need to ship teh other stuff seperate, do that.

Go to Home Depot or WalMart,and pick up a large plastic tub, drain fluid out of tranny, shove a bunch of towels, sheets, pillow, padding, whatever, etc.. in there, seal her up and call UPS to come pick up. Piece of cake
