Default Need Hurst Billet/Plus Handle Part#

I posted this in another thread but it got lost. I'm looking for the part # for the chrome handle that comes with the Hurst Billet/Plus shifter.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HUU-3915061/

I PMed some members and got two different part #'s:

7238
8571

I ordered 7238 off of Summit and the thread is about half the size it should be. Does the Billet/Plus shifter come with an adapter or anything? Looking at 8571 and checking the Application it doesn't look like that one would fit either.

I tried calling Hurst with no luck. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

I know you can order the Billet plus with 2 different setups one with a black stick and one with a chrome stick. I have the black one and I picked up a Lou's short stick for mine. Both of which will work with the standard *****. I believe the Chrome handled version has an adapter to work with the different sized thread of the chrome sticks.

Does anyone have pictures of the adapter, mainly where the stick and shifter meet if that makes sense.

I know with one of the shifters believe part#5060 you can reuse your stock shifter.. Like the factory hurst ****. 5061 is a whole new shifter with ball and billet handle.. hope this helps..

#5060 looks like the black handled one, which LSW66 said you can reuse the stock **** with.

I was just on the phone with Summit, no luck but he was pretty helpful. He looked up the application to the handle I got and it was for 2 Muncie's and the T56 so I'm guessing it is the right handle but just needs an adapter. He found a Hurst Adapter Kit but it didn't have any information or pictures. Anyone know anything about it?

Some good news. A kid at work had a bunch of handle adapters and he actually had one that fit! Not sure the part number or anything but I'll take some pictures when I get home just in case anyone runs into the same problem.

Thanks again for the input guys.

The stick and shifter. I wanted to see if I could do something similar with my factory hurst, so I can have a chrome stick.

Well I got the stick in and finally got around to taking it out last night. It feels like **** haha. The shifts are much longer than the Pro 5.0 and it doesn't have a bend in it so it brings your back off the seat going into 5th and 6th. Oh well, I tried. I just might have to try the UMI shirt stick...
