Default T56 magnum to a zz502 questions.

Hi All,
I need some information. I have a t56 magnum kit to install in a '66 chevelle. Ultimately It will be behind a built up lq4, but for the next year to two years I want to put it behind the zz502 which I will pull out of my '70 ss396. (it will be going through restoration process). I would like to install it behind the 502 with a Quick-time bell housing. My question is can I order an ls6(lsx) clutch kit and have the pressure plate bolt to the big block flywheel? I know they use metric bolts with dowel pins but was wondering if it would work with the big block flywheel if used with 3/8 shouldered bolts and omitting the dowels. This would keep me from needing to purchase another pressure plate down the road when the built up lq4 goes in and the 502 is returned to its home in my '70 SS396.
Thanks,
JLT
