Default remote bleeder..how to use?

ive got the remote bleeder on my car....if i wanted to use it how would i go about bleeding the clutch? since its supposedly a 1 man job. and why would i want to it? would it firm the clutch pedal up?
im just curious how i would bleed the clutch with the remote bleeder.
im think it does have the speedbleeder on it.

I know its a newby question but im new to the t56 world.

can you tell from the picture?

Assuming that is a one way valve on the bleeder (don't know who made your bleeder), loosen the bleeder and pump the clutch. Make sure you don't suck the reservoir dry and it helps if you have some hose to slip over the bleeder. so you can route the fluid into a container.

thanks! thats what i was looking for...is there any way to tell whether i have the speedbleeder or something else? if i ever have to do it i dont want to crack it open and assume its the speedbleeder and it not be and end up pulling all kinds of air into the line...i dont know what kind it is..its was on the car when i got it.

also this is on my 99 TA.....not my 87 in the sig.

did you buy the car with the "speedbleeder already attached? because i can tell you now, thats defintly not a Tick speedbleer. It might be an an LLP unit though.

just try bleeding the unit like my write up. I dont know why anyone would make a remote bleed line and not put a speedbleeder on the end. If it isnt a speedbleeder, just bring the bleed screw to autozone and buy one of their speedbleeders.

yeah bleeder was already on the car when i got it. so if i do bleed and its not...what will happen? air into the system? Im pretty sure it is the right valve, cause like you said, why would someone put it in there and not use the speeder end.
is that what its called? when and if i have to go to autozone and pick one up?

thank man for the info!

if you bleed like i posted and its not a speedbleer/solo bleed, you would introduce air into the system. if that does happen, you can just bleed the traditional way like you would with brakes.

you could also unscrew the bleeder all the way and measure the thread and just pick up a speedbleeder/solo bleed from autzone or http://www.speedbleeder.com/

hmmm? so i could actually unscrew the valve without doing anything and check and see if it rattles or I could stick a pin in the opposite side and see if i can feel the check valve/springball...thats interesting

it wouldnt rattle...its spring loaded.
dont stick a paperclip in it because you can ruin the check valve and cause it to seal improperly
