Default Hurst shifter on a SS

Ok just P/U the 2000 SS with 19,500 miles. Thank you God!
I bought it from the org. onwer with the window sticker. It shows a Hurst short throw shifter @ $325. Anyone else have this? I know little to nothing about this shifter, is it any good? Thinking of just going to a short stick with it. I've had a Pro 5.0 & B&M ripper on other Z28's but not the Hurst.
Any info will help.

I just bought a 2000 ss and it has the hurst shifter... it has a tighter shifting pattern and a lil shorter throw. and a fancy H embossed in the top.

Yep that's the one, just like mine. What do you think of it? I have not been in the car long enough yet to get for a feel for it.

Hey yall here's a thread I started. Yall may want to check it out. The stick is alot shorter but the draw back to some cause it angles forward to the hood instead of back to the back seats. But it feels alot better and is smooth.
