Default Few questions to the guys running Monster Stg. 3

Looking to use this clutch for my daily driver, with it being a 6 puck clutch, would that be a good idea? Would I be better off going with a stg 2? My camaro is a true daily.

How rough is this clutch while driving around? My brother has a 6 puck in his supra, and it feels pretty good, but I heard its not good for a 6 puck to be DD. Anythoughts on this? I want this clutch to last. and I dont want to kill it by using it as a daily. So if monstger stg. 2 is better, please point me that way!

Thanks,

Lee

I have always had full faces clutches till this Monster Level 6. I LOVE it, this puck drives better than ANY agressive after market clutch i have driven; and that's been a LOT. Mine's not a DD but i would have 0 worries about it. It drives better than what in my DD actually lol.

Yeah, you're not going to damage the clutch DD'ing it. I had 23K on my level 3, and 4K on my level 6 before my oil pump died (70K on the car). If it starts chattering on you, just take it out and beat the **** out of it. You can glaze the clutch disc from slipping it if you drive in traffic a lot, and a couple of good clutch drops will pretty much take care of that.

Yup good advice in here. Ive got the stg 3 and love it. Its not a daily driver but it drives great in traffic and like stated above take it out and beat the **** outta it to get rid of the chatter after the proper break in period....
