what do i need to do to my tranny for a 500rwhp car

Default what do i need to do to my tranny for a 500rwhp car

What kind of upgrades do i need to do besides clutch and flywheel?

Stage 2 rebuild from Tick Performance and a Stage 2 clutch from Monster Clutch, stage 3 if you plan on spraying it.

+1 to that. You need that aluminum 3-4 slider out and replaced with a steel one because you will bend that sucker easily. That and just about the rest of the stuff that is included with the Stage 2 upgrade, but that is the most important piece.

The Tick Stage II Kit is working well for me.

No, i know alot of good mechanics as i work at a gm dealership and i can get a great price from a couple buddies at the shop.

Look at post number 12 in this link...its something to consider when buying a rebuild kit. I wouldn't push it if i didn't think it was a good deal.

Don't take it to the dealer for a rebuild.

I also can recommend the Tick/ Monster combo. Works great.

I would say just the clutch and you'll be fine.

Get a shifter with the set screws like a 5.0 and you can bang the living **** out of it.

Stock T56 here with stage 3 Monster
