Default ~Tick Performance Adjustable Master Cylinder Upgrades Come In~

So i'm having some problems transfering power thorough my M6 now that i have a built 408 that is about to be revved to the moon with a single plane vic jr plumbed for a fogger. I am curious if as to how many of you guys that have upgraded are completely satisfied an convinced that this piece is money well spent if you have any shifting problems with a built M6. I would appreciate any positive or negative advice on this item.

It's the best $300+ i've spend on my car so far. The clutch pedal is nice and stout, and it only takes about 2 inches of travel to completely dissengage my clutch. Install is a pain in the ***, but totally worth it. Just be sure to follow their instructions on adjusting the pedal travel, because you will over extend the slave if you aren't careful. If you do need/want to bring the pedal closer up to you, you might want to fab yourself a stopper for the pedal, again, so you don't over extend the slave.

I've recently purchased one based soley on a few buddies I know who run it. They swear up and down it's one of the best mods they've done.

Unfortunately, they also agree w/ the statement above about the install being a pain in the ***, luckily... Mine's being installed in the middle of a motor/clutch swap. =]

If you buy it directly through Tick, there's a little 5% discount going on right now... Not much but a nice little surprise when you check out.

Just installed the monster 4, tick adj, and speedbleed. Very happy so far. Install was easy. Speedbleeder is a necessity!

Hey guys, I'm doing an A4 to M6 swap, do I need to reuse anything from a stock master cylinder, or can I simply buy the Tick and install it. I don't have a stock master cyclinder and hoping to avoid buying one and going straight to the Tick unit. From the pictures on their site I'm assuming I won't need anything from the stock master cylinder?

i don't have quite the amount of power you'd be lookin at with a 408 and built trans and all that but definitly the best $$ i've spent on my car. I couldn't shift this thing at all prior to it and it loves to fly into gears now. I love it and i'm sure you will too.

You'll need the resivoir from the stock one. Mine is sitting on the work bench with a new slave and speed bleeder until I get the cash for a clutch.

As stated, all you need to find is the resevoir, and some way to mount it. Other than that, go ahead and get a remote bleeder too... just to make life a lil easier, and you'll love you're m6 so much more

Definately worth it. I was hesitant myself until I just said to hell with it and tried. Now I will never look back.

Also dont forget to pick a speed bleeder from them, its a life saver!

Absolutely love mine! I'm shifting at 7000+rpm with 650-700rwhp on the jug with zero problems. Well worth the money.

Well looks like ill jump on the band wagon and spend the extra cash for one. For the guys running the stock 10 bolt, how is your rear taking the extra punishment?

It's such a relief to know there are other guys out there in the world of going fast who have been through this **** searching for a positive solution to put an end to the madness. I'm also trying to decide on what shifter i'm going to top my transmission off with because this B&M Ripper isn't serving it's purpose other than feeling long an hard like my dick an it shifts better when i grab it by the base of the stick. The master will be a blessing on the street if this bastard is the real deal as you gentlemen say it is! I greatly appreciate the feed back you all have posted up an given to me about this product. I can't tell you how many times i've lost races to fast cars i know for a fact N/A if i could power shift an hold traction i would either have tied them or beat them. I have so many changes for this car that it should be near impossible to touch on the streets of St. Louis with me strapped in behind the wheel. I have never seen any people in the state of missouri with this mod so it makes me wonder how it's going to feel like with a healthy master, tight shifter, an a strong monster 11" clutch set-up on the street.

No black Zo6 wheels here. Have had the car since early 2008.
