Trany noise and some grinding

Default Trany noise and some grinding

2002 Camaro SS, M6

im having this issue with my transmission it hasnt given up on me yet but im worried. it has been making a low pitched grinding noise and yesterday the shifter started to shake on me while i was in neutral at a red light. what can it be?

That's not really enough information to diagnose a problem. Describe your symptoms more.

the shifter also goes up and down but i asked a friend and he said hes pretty sure its the trany mount.

If your shifter jumps up and down, your transmission mount is broken. Time to replace it with an aftermarket poly mount.
