Question Rebuilding t56 and i have a question.

Well i am in the build up process on the t56. I am getting ready to put the main case back on but i am unsure if the 5-6 shift levers are installed properly. I had pictures of it before i took it apart but they are on a camera that my daughter broke. I am just not sure of the orientation of these levers. I looked thru the t56 build thread and i have the service manual and have read Joe Ambers write up but none of them cover this.

Thanks for the help.

Yes that is my kitchen table.

The levers are in the proper position, though Rev lever is down for some reason and the engagement lever is up and out of the selector cam.

Rotate the shift rail away from the selectors, then align the cam and select together. Then rotate the shift rail back into the selector slots and you should be good..
