Default Oops! No Sixth Gear...

I was having transmission issues last summer and my girlfriend's dad said he would help me drop the transmission. Turns out the 3-4 syncho keys were busted. We replaced them with billet ones, replaced the 3-4 syncho rings, and installed a steel 3-4 shift fork for safe measure. Once we were putting it back together we realized this one rod was bent, and replaced it (I don't remember what it was).

Once we got the tranny back together and installed in the car, we found out that it won't go into 6th gear. So...

1) Any ideas on why that is happening?

2) Should I have replaced the clutch? I'm am basically stock, with 29k. I learned how to drive on the car, and have even let a few inexperienced drivers drive it a little bit.

3) Are there any other parts I should upgrade? I was thinking billet keys for all the synchos, and possibly bronze fork pads.

Thanks for the help guys!

5th works without issue, or does it catch at all?

6th won't go into gear at all? Or it goes, then grinds and pops out?

I've seen the fork pads get busted up but that would tend to hurt 5th also.

Luckily, you only need to pull the tail to fix...

5th works fine. The shifter won't even go into sixth, it's like it's not there.

This might be a stupid question here, but You did get the snap ring on the shift fork shaft on, and seated properly right? Just starting with that question
