Default MGW vs. B&M shifter

Just installed my new MGW shifter today and all I can say is WOW!!! This thing is amazing!!! It feeds like the action on a Remington 700 rifle; benchmark quality. The B&M ripper came with the car and honestly I had no problem with it at all, just read so many good reviews on the MGW I had to try it. Shortened the throw up too from 4" (1 to 2) to 3", and the thing is super smooth and precise. The only thing I liked better about the B&M was the bend in the stick. Kinda liked the way it looked bent toward the driver. Other than that, MGW FTW!!!

I also just put in my new MGW (yesterday) and like it a lot. This was from the stock shifting linkage with a short stick. I like the MGW a lot. The forward/back distance is short, but the side-to-side distance between 2-3 & 4-5 is TINY! It seems to just find the gears perfectly. Due to the thicker base and the fact that MGW made sure to isolate every metal component with rubber fitting makes it MUCH quieter than the stock shifter too.

One complaint is that I wish that I would spin the gold portion of the base (that holds the stick) to have the shifter a little further back. All-in-all, I am really happy with it.

I ordered mine today! Just hoping they aren't on backorder like they were a few months ago when I tried to get one.

I think you have to buy direct from MGW, I don't think they sell to any third parties. I think it was like $225 shipped. Not cheap, but definitely worth every penny.

congrats and welcome to the club,, the first shifter I bought was a pro5.0 and still missed the 2-3 shift, I swapped that notchy thing out for my MGW a while back when they first started making them for our cars, I loved it from the first shift, and promise you there is not a better shifter period.
