Spec 3+ is a great clutch for the street or strip. Good pedal feel and holds a good amount of power.

My ram power grip hd only held for about 2000 miles. IMO the best clutches out there for the ls cars are monster and they customer service is awsome

Spec has sold more LS clutches then anyone else and proven to be the best clutch.

I have a Monster Clutch, I would take this clutch over a Spec anyday. Had one and it wouldn't stop chattering. Also had a LS6 clutch. Both the LS6 and the Monster I would recc. to anyone. I would try the LS7 for a bolt on car. If you plan on dropping the hammer on it at the track get the monster.

Sounds like a monster stage 2 would be the perfect clutch for what you want.

It held 500rwhp in my caddy. I had a slave failure and went with a spec and now I have more problems.

Actually I retract that statement lol. I see no reason not to go with the stage 3. Fairly light peddle pressure, handles tons of abuse and lasts a long time.
