Good replacement clutch
first of all, how is it evident that the stock clutch is worn out?
second of all, whats a good replacement clutch that only needs to hold a little better power than stock, basically exhaust/intake bolt ons?
SPEC 1, LS7, etc?

You should be able to feel it "Slip" when the cars accelerating definitely noticeable. I have heard good things about the LS7. If it's just a bolt-on car I would maybe go with the low end Monster clutch a buddy runs it in his bolt-on WS6 and loves it.

put the shifter into a higher gear when going slow lets say your doing 35mph, put the shifter into 5th gear and accellerate. If the motor increases RPM easily and quickly its slipping, if the clutch is holding it should bog the motor down. I have had no problems at all with my RAM VDS clutch!

now i have a problem it seems or maybe not... (this is the stock clutch btw, has 63k miles on the car)
i was driving today and the clutch feels like i can push it in almost 2 inches and it doesnt do anything and then once it reaches that point it disengages..
idk if i am imagining it but it has seemed to only gotten worse lately..
its not necessarily sticking, its just not disengaging for a good amount of distance.
what could this be?

I assume that you are referencing greater pedal travel to release the clutch. If so then this could very easily be relative to a hydraulic issue. Air in the system and or a weak slave or master could cause the need for a longer pedal throw to release the clutch. I assume that hydraulics are all original. Have you checked the fluid for discoloration? If the fluis is dark or cloudy then you ought to flush and re-fill it with new fluid. Give it a try and let me know what you find. Thanks,
