Hi, yesterday my t56 started making a very strange disconcerting noise. At first it would only happen when the engine was decelerating the car, but then as I slowly limped her home, it started making the noise everywhere. I turned the car off while it was in neutral and let it coast, the noise sounded like 'wampa wampa wampa...'. It got faster as the car moved faster. After I got it home, I put it on jack stands and let the wheels spin in gear. On the jacks I could only hear the noise in 6th gear, and it was clearly coming from the trans, not any other drivetrain part. The car still drives fine in every gear, I just don't want to drive it in this condition. Thanks in advance guys, I think it needs a rebuild, anybody know any good places in New Jersey that could rebuild it for me?
