t56 hard to get in gear

Default t56 hard to get in gear

i just replaced my clutch in my ta an now i am haveing a hard time getting it into gear while running. i can not figure out why please help

what clutch? did you replace any other parts? miles on the car? any problems with the install?

more info needed.

shims? maybe a bad slave/master?

Make sure the clutch fork is fully engaged on the throwout bearing

you have a adj master? If not you need one w extra throw. Tick is the best from what i have heard

good advice considering there is no clutch fork.




post more info about your setup. theres no point in throwing out ideas without knowing the basic info.

i repaced it with a speck stage two and new gm flywheel. i also put in a new slave unit in the trans i have bleed it 3 diferent timesi can not figure it out

the car has 115000 on it but, it was towed for half of those miles. other than that it is stock. i have had it for going on tree years and have had no problems, it is driviung me nuts

did you put the shim behind the slave cyl?

what shifter do you have? is something pinched in the shifter area? shifter boot problem? doesnt sound like a hyd issue although that master may be getting weak.

it is the factory shifter and has no boot issues some times it feels like i can pump the clutch and it goes in gear easier. and when i go to let the clutch out it almost instantle is engaged
