Default LS7 Clutch Question - hopefully quick

I just installed a new LS7 clutch in my 99Z with new GM master cylinder and slave cylinder. I bled the hydraulics the best that I could but it was hard to tell how good a job I done.

The transmission is shifting perfectly but the clutch lets out about an inch from the floor. Is this normal or how should it be working?

Thanks.

Kevin
