Default Spongy pedal issue

Alright guys ive tried searching and cant find whats up with my car..I have built T56 with an LS7 clutch and LS2 flywheel..It has probably about 30K miles on it currently. Well it seems like when i normally drive the car i have some free play when i push the clutch pedal in..its probably about 1/4 of the way from the top..Then as i drive and shift more aggressively and the fluid heat up it seems to grab more towards the top..The fluid is getting very dark and dirty and i havent changed it before..Could it just be that the fluid needs to be changed? thanks for any help you guys can give me.

I've read of many that have just changed their fluid and saw a dramatic change in their clutch. Also, they say the Ls7 clutch is self adjusting and the pedal will get better over time. I'm not an authority by any means but have a Ls7 clutch on order so I've been doing a lot of reading on them lately. You really do need to keep your clutch fluid clean (clear) though.
