T56 swap project ok heres my issue, I just bought another LS6 for a swap project, going into a 79 Trans am, now the corvette T56, can it be bolted onto the engine? or do I have to find an Fbody trans? I also go the 4l60e trans, but I dont like autos. I really hope I can make this work as its got upgraded internals and the Viper shaft.... somebody please help.....

Or am I missing something? You have a C5 T56 with a viper mainshaft? That would take some serious work...
