hey guys i recently put a ws6 store short stick on my stock shifter. and i noticed a kind of rubbingof metal sound when i put the shifter toward a gear, like where the synchros start to mesh. its kinda like a whine. and it goes away the longer i hold it toward the gear without going into the gear all the way. is this just a normal sound of the synchros slowing down the gears? should i be worried?

any help is appreciated!

is this just the gears whining, it doesnt seem to go away when driving i think. i know my gears have some whine to them. could that just be it?
