Default NAPA brand ATF(Dexron 3)

Is this stuff ok to use in my tranny? Is there another brand that is better? Im pretty sure this is just repackaged Valvoline or Pennzoil.

That stuff will be fine. Any dex 3 atf will work just fine. Some people like the syncromesh from GM because it's a little thicker. They say it seems to shift smoother with it but it's pricey. I'd try the cheap stuff first.

The regular ATF 3 works great. The best thing you could do to keep your trans in good health is treat it nice and change the oil often. The type of ATF 3 is the least of your issues.
