Default Is my clutch fully disengaging ?

This may be a very dumb question but I need to ask. I just installed a Monster stage 3 premium clutch kit with a new slave cylinder. When I put the shifter in first and rev the car to 5000+rpms it slightly creeps forward. Does this mean my cluctch isn't fully disengaging ? If I strapped my car to a dyno would it alter my numbers? I know that the fix is a Tick Master cylinder so I will get it when funds allow

I have about 650 miles on the clutch so far.

Clutch is definitely dragging, but it will not affect dyno results.

+2 on the clutch dragging. You should think of getting the tick master sooner Vs later. While the clutch disk is dragging it is making you blocker rings (synchros) work 10x harder to slow/speed down/up the gears for the teeth to engage. You can also get away with shimming the slave cylinder out so that it pushes more on the pressure plate.

I bled the clutch and got some more air out and it seems a little better. Still need the tick though.

If the clutch is dragging I would think it would effect dyno results.

You don't dyno your car with your clutch disengaged. If your clutch is dragging when your pedal is to the floor, it wont affect your performance when the clutch is fully engaged when you take your foot off.

Basically, you have the opposite problem of slip (slip will affect dyno results).

It sounds like you might still have some air in the system, or it's time for a new master.

If it creeps, it is not disengaging.
