Default LS7 Clutch Install Issues, Shimming TOB?, Adj. SAC PP

Im installing a T56 behind a 6.0 in my 89' GMC C1500 and opted for the LS7 clutch(which is used 10k miles)

I took the measurements from PP fingers to face of trans 2.25 inches
TOB to face of trans 2.0625
2 15/16 tob fully released

which gives .1875 or 3/16 gap

Seems good right....

So I found out about the Self adjusting pressure plate which looks like its adjusted out. Springs are fully extended. See pic below

Using a 94' model trk master and 97' model trk line and slave

So basically does the plate need to be adjusted? and does the measurement diff. sound alright

Only reason Im asking is cause when i bleed the hyd. with the old slave the pedal went to the floor with no movement of clutch

Have since installed new slave but trans is still out

all help is appreciated!!!
