Default Which clutch should I get? Poll

Ok guys I got a corvette pullout a couple months ago and I'm gonna replace the clutch. I just wanna know what you guys would get based on a daily driver with a few street races every now and then. I want it to grip and last long but also slip enough for daily driving in traffic. So probably only a stage one or two. Here are the clutches I am looking at:

SPEC Stage 1 Clutch
RAM Powergrip HD Clutch 900 (worried about chatter!!)
LS7 OEM Clutch and LS2 Flywheel

Don't even look at centerforce. Mine has 3000 miles and its slipping like its made of wax paper.

Are you using that vette transmission? I thought those weren't adaptable to the f-body.

I will be making around 430rwhp I am getting the f-body T56 also. I have heard some bad stories about the SPEC. Would the RAM Powergrip HD Clutch be acceptable for daily driving? I kinda want the LS7 clutch cause I think it would be more reliable just since its stock. I really don't wanna have to buy a new flywheel for it though.

So far the LS7 clutch is killing the other clutches in the poll...

The Monster Level 2 will hold the power you are making and is an excellent choice for a daily driver.

I'd go with Monster as well! It'll handle a good bit more power than the LS7 clutch and has a warranty that is UNHEARD OF from a GM clutch

Ok I have been reading about the monster clutches and like what I hear. Plus I don't have to buy another flywheel right now right? I can just use the one that was on the Corvette LS1? Whats the cheapest place you can get em' at...?

Why are these things so damn expensive!!! The cheapest I can find is $650 with the 15lb flywheel (do you even need a new flywheel?!?!). Why can't I get just the clutch and use my old flywheel?

Also would a Stage4 be too much for a daily driver? I found a used one with 1,500 miles on it that is in my price range.

All our kits come with a new flywheel. The Level 4 is not what I would recommend for daily driving, the sintered iron friction material is best suited to race applications.

Thats what I figured about the DD. Do they require this flywheel though? If this is all I was buying I would be fine with it. But since Im trying to get everything in the car before school starts back up I would like to only spen $300-$400. And that difference is in the price of the flywheel.

If your stock flywheel is in good shape (and hasn't been cut repetatively) and you are looking for a stock like driving experience with higher capacity than stock a stage 1 or 2 would be great. Keep in mind that you can find positive and negative reviews of any product. We have sold over 20K LS based clutch kits over the years and as such there are countless customers and members of this forum that can and will provide great reviews of our product. If you have any questions let me know and I will be happy to assist you. Of course, if you need a flywheel we offer those too, in steel and aluminum to suit your needs and plans.

I got my stage 4 CLUTCH MASTER NOT MONSTER on my daily driver ... the higher the stage the durable it is in most cases (no enough power to burn the clutch .... I say dont be cheap & get a real clutch ... MONSTER CLUTCH stage 4 is worth every penny plus u get a flywheel with the kit AMAZING for DD ... just remember the adjustable MC with remote bleeder & u won't be sorry .... worried about chattering .... check your engine / trans mount's & torque arm bushing .... the rest depend's on how you break in your clutch .... !! ... IMO ONLY thou !!
I WILL BUY CM stg 4 (NO FLYWHEEL IN KIT) again over monster clutch stg 4 any day !! u can just feel the QUALITY !!
the poll z no doubt an ls7 choice but yet it's your call in the end !!
