What the hell is up with my B&M Ripper?
Does anybody know why the threads on my B&M Ripper are wrong? I noticed metal shavings coming out of my MBA **** when I was installing it and I just thought it was because it was the fist time it was being put on. So today I was tryting to put on my new Jegs slotted **** and it wouldn't go on. I looked at it and realized the threads on the shifter were wrong. I went and go my stock shifter stick and the **** threaded on perfect. Anybody else had this problem?

Well because everywhere I've researched has said that the Ripper is supposted to have 16mm x 1.5mm threads like the stock shifter. I also know from the past 10 or so years of my brother and me have about 15 + F-Bodies, mostly 6 speeds, we've had Hurst, stock Hurst, Pro 5.0, B&M Ripper and the first 3 with the stock stick and Lou's short stick. All of those including the B&M that was in his '94 T/A could use the stock **** and the pleathora of aftermarket ***** we were constantly switching out with the stock 16mm x 1.5 mm threads.
Is it possible that my B&M might have SAE threads for some reason?
