Default T-56 grinds in 5th and 6th

So i have an LS1/T56 swapped 240sx, 00 F-body LS1, C6 z06 clutch and flywheel, 04 GTO T56/slave, Wilwood Master cyl with tick remote bleeder and steel braided clutch line..

the car drives great 1st through 4th gear and even revers, but 5th and 6th both grind/whine the entire time I'm in those gears, they go in to gear fine, require no extra shifting effort.. not sure what to be looking for or what it might possibly be..

bought the trans off a member on here, said it had 200 miles on it and visually it does look brand new, no oxidization, extremely clean in bellhousing and exterior case, input shaft every thing... but the first day I got the car running this is what I find out..

A slipping clutch will show up in 5th/6th gears, and appears to be what you're describing. See if the RPMs go up faster than the MPH when driving it in 5th/6th and going WOT.

If you don't detect clutch slip, it could be that the 5-6 driven gear is chipped or is starting to slip/strip on the mainshaft..

so i tried accelerating in 5th and 6th gear, it doesnt seem like its slipping, the speed increase seems relative to the RPMs.. any other ideas?

Looks like you might be in for a rebuild on the T56....
