Fastest time anyones installed a T56
Whats the fastest or even Avg. time you guys have ever re-installed an f-body T56. Im starting mine tomm. and trying to knock it out before noon. I'll have a lift and two people helping, so hopefully i'll get it banged out.

Well there are certainly some clutch smashing savages out there that will never admit it's their driving ability or lack there off that has garnered them some fast trans removal times.
Frankly I am ok with not being the quickest as that means my shiz does not break lol.Having at least 1 other competent hand is great. Two is always better when possible.
The biggest thing is knowing what needs to be removed.
Example:
Y-pipe: Is yours in the way, aftermarket or stock? Be prepared to un install and re install.
TQ arm: Plan on removing that
Prybars: Better have them
Tools: Make sure if your replacing things like the Pilot bearing you need the proper tool to pull out the bearing, also clutch alignment tool, and loctite. Dead blow hammers, extensions
Parts: If your in there you gotta make sure your replacing everything that needs replacing such as the slave
Also someone inside to disconnect the shifter and get the center consol apart.
WHen you bleed the clutch, do a Gravity Bleed. Have someone in the car actuating the clutch (DO NOT PUMP IT) and with in 3-4 open/close of the bleeder screw it should be rock solid pressure on the pedal.
Myself I ran into a issue where the the bell housing got stuck on the block dowels and it just made it for a sucky removal and install. We actually had to get it close and then draw the trans on with the block to bell housing bolts, and the same for the trans to bell housing bolts. Very aggrivating.

If you are just re-installing it, using a lift, and have two people helping, it should not take very long at all. I just re-installed mine this weekend with the help of a buddy, in my garage, on jack stands, took us a couple of hours.
You guys doing it by yourself on jack stands are crazy.

Lol It wasn't that bad. But I'm not a big person either. I could have used a lift but was quicker for me to do it at the house.
The only thing I did do was put it on a jack to help lift/hold it up. I forgot about the y-pipe though. I was still open headers.

Our quickest time is about 20ish minutes, 2 guys had a tunnel mount tq arm though. Im sure he'll chime in on this and I've never had to remove a y pipe to drop a trans with stock/pacesetter ory's.

I've had mine out and back in around 3 hrs, that includes: slave, pilot bearing, clutch, tq arm, drive shaft, and exhaust.
I had it in and out about 6 times in one day, so I got real familiar with it. The hardest thing for me was getting the input shaft to line up with the clutch.
