Default problems with speed bleeder.

so i got the monster clutch and hyd package from tick performance got it all put in and the line from the speed bleeder to the slave cylinder keeps slowly leaking. its as tight as can be with the washer in the right place.

can i put teflon tape on the treads to maybe seal it?

any suggestions?

I used liquid teflon and the washer. Make sure the washer is installed on the correct side of the fitting.

i would not bother with teflon tape. The tape wont stop the high pressure from getting by it.You really need a good seal from the metal/metal contact that the fitting is designed for.I would take it apart and clean it real nice and check out the surfaces on the contact points of the seal area.If they are marked up a lot you might have to change one.and replace the washer

Try a new crush washer. It might have been chewed up. You can get them at most parts stores.
