Default A4 to M6 Reverse Solenoid

I have used the write ups for this but i did not see where it says to do the reverse solenoid, can someone help me out with this? Just need some idea of where to wire it to.

And forget that, i'm just going to install a push button that will cut power to the solenoid so that i can put it in reverse and not put it in gear while power is to the solenoid.
I think thats how the solenoid works anyways.

there was one suggestion somewhere in there about instead of doing a switch wiring it to the brake lights, so essentially your brake pedal is the reverse lockout switch. i like that better than a switch if i could get some confirmation that it worked.
