Personally I think it is a flaw of the self adjusting cover. I went through the LS7 and also a SPEC LS7 stage 3 with adjusting cover and both would not shift over 5k. The SPEC was actually worse than the stock LS7. They both start off shifting just fine then over a course of months the LS7 wouldn't shift. After only a few weeks the SPEC did the same thing. Ever since I installed an Exedy twin that does not self adjust, I haven't had a single problem with the pedal and its been in almost 6 months now. I didn't even use a pressure bleeder to bleed the system and no problems.

Anybody can say what they will, but I will not install another clutch with SAC pressure plate. I dont care if its factory stuff or not.

They are built differently. I just put in a Delco, which leaked after a month and had clutch problems when it wouldn't hold pressure.

What kinda problems? The reason why I ask is because I put a new slave in my car over two years ago and I have nothing but ******* problems with something and I cant put my finger on it.

Sticking clutch, hard shifts, and fluid was dripping out of the clutch housing. We replaced the Delco with a GM unit and with the Tick MC, its working great.
