Default Broken Bellhousing

Well I thought today couldnt get any worse. Pulling transmission out to do a clutch change and the bell housing was seized beyond belief on the dowel pins. I faught with it for over and hour and a half with every tool imaginable then I finally managed to break it. What now? Could I get a performance bell housing? Or should I look into just putting another stocker in? The piece that broke off the bell housing is not that bad and can be fixed with a little welding. Is that not a good way to go?

Sounds like a good excuse to buy that scatter shield you have been dreaming about.

A little on the expensive side, but the insurance for your feet is well worth it.
That is why I bought one after seeing a crack in my bellhousing and needed to replace it anyway.

Quicktime offers the best housing on the market. I've sold a ton of them and zero complaints.

Agreed, mine actually fit better than stock, takes a little bit more time to install/remove, but worth it.

Are there any (cheaper) alternatives to the QT bellhousing?
