Default Clunk when shifting 1-2?

Was out today and decided to start from a stop and fry the tires....basically did a power shift from 1 to 2 and heard a "clunk" coming from somewhere behind me, and the tires hesitated for a split second before 2nd gear went up in smoke and i laid 100 feet of rubber.

Is this my trans? Or rear?

I have a Textralia clutch and stock t-56.

You protruding much fried the 1-2 shift fork and probably the syncro. Which was a common problem for the t56 in any early ls vehicle made before the last ssr was made.
