Default Short stick

I have a hurst billet plus in my TA and I like it, but I think the stick could be a little shorter. I'm thinking about throwing a short stick on there but I've heard of people fitment issues. I did some searching but haven't found any definitive answers.

So who here has a billet plus with a short stick such as lou's, ws6store, etc... ? Looking for info based on personal experience. I know they are pretty cheap so I could test a few out but some input would be helpful.

I have the Lou's model specially built for the aftermarket Hurst and its the best thing ever. http://www.lscamaross.8m.com/stick4.html The fit is perfect and I've had it for almost 12 years now. The only issue I had was with the attachment bolts vibrating out, but I solved that with a pair of Nord-lock washers. http://www.nord-lock.com/

I would suggest going with this one over what the others offer with a straight stick. The bends in Lou's model really fit the car perfectly and give a great feel.

I use a UMI stick on a stock Hurst shifter, and I love it. Took a little bit to get used to it since it brings the **** closer to your leg, but I love it.

Thanks for the replies so far! Anyone specifically have a short stick with the billet plus?

I have a Lou's for the Billet Plus it mimics the stock Billet plus stick exactly but is much shorter. The throws become more labor intensive because of the lose of leverage. I removed one of the 3 centering springs to combat this.
Heres a Pic

I just ordered a TNA stick off of eBay for like $10. The pro 5.0 handling I'm using is too long and hits my shifter bezel.

I've got the TNA short stick as well. Really nice piece, been going strong for 4 years now. I had to remove one of the centering springs from my hurst short throw to help increase my mechanical advantage. I love it.

Do do you have a picture with a shift **** installed? I'm just curious to how it looks. I'm assuming a lot like the LSS inn regards to how it sits in the shift bezel.

You are looking at an old web site. This place is now the exclusive supplier and you only have one choice for the billet plus: http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/lousshortstick.html

If you use the stock boot, color doesn't matter because you won't be able to see the thing.
