Default Monster clutch shim??

Throw out bearing to trans face- 1.960 Pressure plate fingers to bell housing face- 2.340 This would leave a measured difference of 0.38 between Throw out bearing/trans face, and pressure plate fingers/bell housing. Background info- 1970 Chevelle,T56 magnum F-body dimensions, Quicktime Bell, Lq9 LS, Monster Stage 2 kit(f-body slave, tick adjustable master, etc... I have already talked to the guys at monster but I just want to see what others have to say as to whether or not a shim is appropriate... Thanks in advance!!

What slave are you using? The short green one w/ 3 bolts? Or is it adapted to the LS6 style one?

It has two mounting bolts/holes. It came from TICK so i'm assuming it is an F-body....

IMO you have to much gap and will have disengagement issues. Read Ticks sticky thread about clutch setup and measurements

.380 seems like a bit much. I would probably put in a .250in spacer.
